Reentry for Veterans program combines stable transitional housing with comprehensive wraparound supportive services specifically tailored to address the unique needs of veterans involved in the criminal justice system while promoting rehabilitation, accountability, employment success, housing stability, and long-term self-sufficiency.
Program Eligibility
To qualify for the Veteran Reentry Transitional Housing Program, applicants must generally meet the following baseline requirements:

Must be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces

Must be returning from incarceration, jail, prison, probation, parole, community control, or another justice-involved status

Must be homeless, at risk of homelessness, unstably housed, or in need of transitional housing

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be willing to participate in case management and supportive services

Must agree to follow program rules, curfews, and housing expectations
Must demonstrate a willingness to work toward self-sufficiency and stability
Program Goal
The purpose of the eligibility process is to identify veterans who are most in need of structured transitional housing and wraparound support services while ensuring participants are committed to rehabilitation, stability, employment readiness, and successful community reintegration.
