Homelessness is caused by a complex combination of factors, including a lack of affordable housing, poverty, unemployment, and low wages. Other major causes include mental illness, substance abuse, and domestic violence, which can push individuals into a state of homelessness due to personal crises. Systemic issues like discrimination and cuts to social support programs also contribute significantly to the problem.
Shared Housing
Our shared housing model features affordable units that are shared between multiple participants to reduce the costs to a fraction of the rent. Units will have shared living spaces such as the bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms, but each tenant will have their own bedroom.
Participant Requirements
To be eligible for our program, participants must meet certain criteria. These may include:

Must be willing to accept/participate in our case management

Not all charges can be accepted
How to Apply
To apply for our program, please have your Counselors, Case Managers, Social Workers or any other agency representative send a referral to the following email:c.richards@greatnesstosuccess.org Once the process is initiated, a member of our staff will reach out to the person submitting the referral to guide them through the process and begin the interview stage.
